Wedding Band

I always knew I would make my own wedding band one day. I also knew I would design something incredibly challenging. Combining wood, stone, and metal with this kind of geometry was no easy task. The machinist I work with told me it was basically impossible to machine the wood and metal in the same setup. But I felt like with the right approach, I could make it work.

This project ended up being how I learned CAM and the 5-axis CNC which makes it even more meaningful to me. I am really happy this was the project I got to learn on.

The materials I chose also carry a lot of personal meaning, but that is probably a story better told in person.
